To Do’s vs Todays

I don’t know about you, but my to do list doesn’t seem to go down very quickly.  A week or 2 will go by and nothing will be crossed of.  Now, if something is time sensitive, that is a different story.  Bot when something is not really that important (at least right now), I basically forget about it.  Here is a helpful way to try to solve that problem.  Get rid of the to do list and make a today list.  What are you going to get done today?

When you do not have a specific time frame for something, it is easy to neglect it.  This may be painting a room, fixing a leak, scheduling an appointment, mowing the lawn, etc.  So, how do we fix this problem?  Try a today list!  When you get up, make your today list.  Put something from your to do list on it.  Hey, get a little crazy and put 2 things on there.  It is a lot less overwhelming than looking at that big to do list.

Incorporating this into your workouts.

A lot of people worry about the big goals.  They are thinking, “What can I do to lose 20 lbs”.  Again, it is overwhelming.  Put on your today list, “30 minute workout”.  If you have a program laying around, use it!  “Beachbody 21 Day Fix Workout“.  Plan your workout for today, and only today.  Tomorrow you can plan your workout for tomorrow.
